18 This is how Jesus the Messiah was born. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But before the marriage took place, while she was still a virgin, she became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit.
All of this occurred to fulfill the Lord’s message through his prophet:
and they stayed there until Herod’s death. This fulfilled what the Lord had spoken through the prophet: “I called my Son out of Egypt.”

35 Jesus traveled through all the towns and villages of that area, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness.
For it is not you who will be speaking — it will be the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.
1 At about that time Jesus was walking through some grainfields on the Sabbath. His disciples were hungry, so they began breaking off some heads of grain and eating them.
This fulfilled what God had spoken through the prophet: “I will speak to you in parables. I will explain things hidden since the creation of the world.”

And the man jumped up, grabbed his mat, and walked out through the stunned onlookers. They were all amazed and praised God, exclaiming, “We’ve never seen anything like this before!”
23 One Sabbath day as Jesus was walking through some grainfields, his disciples began breaking off heads of grain to eat.
The earth produces the crops on its own. First a leaf blade pushes through, then the heads of wheat are formed, and finally the grain ripens.
She had heard about Jesus, so she came up behind him through the crowd and touched his robe.

Again they entered Jerusalem. As Jesus was walking through the Temple area, the leading priests, the teachers of religious law, and the elders came up to him.

And immediately the rooster crowed the second time. Suddenly, Jesus’ words flashed through Peter’s mind: “Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny three times that you even know me.” And he broke down and wept.
And the disciples went everywhere and preached, and the Lord worked through them, confirming what they said by many miraculous signs.
just as he promised through his holy prophets long ago.
You will tell his people how to find salvation through forgiveness of their sins.
14 Then Jesus returned to Galilee, filled with the Holy Spirit’s power. Reports about him spread quickly through the whole region.
but he passed right through the crowd and went on his way.
The news about Jesus spread through every village in the entire region.
1 One Sabbath day as Jesus was walking through some grainfields, his disciples broke off heads of grain, rubbed off the husks in their hands, and ate the grain.
“No, go back to your family, and tell them everything God has done for you.” So he went all through the town proclaiming the great things Jesus had done for him.
22 Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he went, always pressing on toward Jerusalem.

1 Jesus entered Jericho and made his way through the town.
He saw through their trickery and said,
At that moment the Lord turned and looked at Peter. Suddenly, the Lord’s words flashed through Peter’s mind: “Before the rooster crows tomorrow morning, you will deny three times that you even know me.”

For the law was given through Moses, but God’s unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ.
God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.

You Samaritans know very little about the one you worship, while we Jews know all about him, for salvation comes through the Jews.
