What do people really get for all their hard work?
So are wise people really better off than fools? Do poor people gain anything by being wise and knowing how to act in front of others?
they chatter on and on. No one really knows what is going to happen; no one can predict the future.
LORD, you will grant us peace; all we have accomplished is really from you.
You see and recognize what is right but refuse to act on it. You hear with your ears, but you don’t really listen.”
How foolish are those who manufacture idols. These prized objects are really worthless. The people who worship idols don’t know this, so they are all put to shame.
