For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.

“For God said, ‘HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER,’ and, ‘HE WHO SPEAKS EVIL OF FATHER OR MOTHER IS TO BE PUT TO DEATH.’

For God said, ‘Honor your father and mother’a and ‘Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.’b

For instance, God says, ‘Honor your father and mother,’a and ‘Anyone who speaks disrespectfully of father or mother must be put to death.’b
