Между тем войско царя Вавилонского воевало против Иерусалима и против всех городов Иудейских, которые ещё оставались, против Лахиса и Азеки; ибо из городов Иудейских сии только оставались, как города укрепленные.
When the king of Babylon's army fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities of Judah that were left, against Lachish, and against Azekah: for these defenced cities remained of the cities of Judah.
when the army of the king of Babylon was fighting against Jerusalem and against all the remaining cities of Judah, that is, Lachish and Azekah, for they alone remained as fortified cities among the cities of Judah.
