Человек не властен над духом, чтобы удержать дух, и нет власти у него над днем смерти, и нет избавления в этой борьбе, и не спасёт нечестие нечестивого.
There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.
No man has authority to restrain the wind with the wind, or authority over the day of death; and there is no discharge in the time of war, and evil will not deliver those who practice it.

As no one has power over the wind to contain it, soa no one has power over the time of their death. As no one is discharged in time of war, so wickedness will not release those who practice it.

None of us can hold back our spirit from departing. None of us has the power to prevent the day of our death. There is no escaping that obligation, that dark battle. And in the face of death, wickedness will certainly not rescue the wicked.
