So they cut off the anchors and left them in the sea. Then they lowered the rudders, raised the foresail, and headed toward shore.
But Paul shook off the snake into the fire and was unharmed.
The Jewish ceremony of circumcision has value only if you obey God’s law. But if you don’t obey God’s law, you are no better off than an uncircumcised Gentile.
