When Joseph woke up, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded and took Mary as his wife.
“All right, go!” Jesus commanded them. So the demons came out of the men and entered the pigs, and the whole herd plunged down the steep hillside into the lake and drowned in the water.

I don’t speak on my own authority. The Father who sent me has commanded me what to say and how to say it.

We must take a three-day trip into the wilderness to offer sacrifices to the LORD our God, just as he has commanded us.”

So the people of Israel did just as the LORD had commanded through Moses and Aaron.

Aaron did just as the LORD had commanded Moses. He eventually placed it in the Ark of the Covenant — in front of the stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant.
Moses commanded Joshua, “Choose some men to go out and fight the army of Amalek for us. Tomorrow, I will stand at the top of the hill, holding the staff of God in my hand.”
So Joshua did what Moses had commanded and fought the army of Amalek. Meanwhile, Moses, Aaron, and Hur climbed to the top of a nearby hill.
So Moses returned from the mountain and called together the elders of the people and told them everything the LORD had commanded him.
And all the people responded together, “We will do everything the LORD has commanded.” So Moses brought the people’s answer back to the LORD.
First, celebrate the Festival of Unleavened Bread. For seven days the bread you eat must be made without yeast, just as I commanded you. Celebrate this festival annually at the appointed time in early spring, in the month of Abib, for that is the anniversary of your departure from Egypt. No one may appear before me without an offering.
Then Moses went down to the people and repeated all the instructions and regulations the LORD had given him. All the people answered with one voice, “We will do everything the LORD has commanded.”
