Heb 7:11

So if the priesthood of Levi, on which the law was based, could have achieved the perfection God intended, why did God need to establish a different priesthood, with a priest in the order of Melchizedek instead of the order of Levi and Aaron?

Deut 28:9

“If you obey the commands of the LORD your God and walk in his ways, the LORD will establish you as his holy people as he swore he would do.

Deut 29:13

By entering into the covenant today, he will establish you as his people and confirm that he is your God, just as he promised you and as he swore to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
