Deut 1:3

“But Sihon king of Heshbon was not willing for us to pass through his land; for the LORD your God hardened his spirit and made his heart obstinate, in order to deliver him into your hand, as he is today.

but repays those who hate Him to their faces, to destroy them; He will not delay with him who hates Him, He will repay him to his face.

“Therefore, you shall keep the commandments of the LORD your God, to walk in His ways and to fear Him.

At that time the LORD set apart the tribe of Levi to carry the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to serve Him and to bless in His name until this day.

Therefore, Levi does not have a portion or inheritance with his brothers; the LORD is his inheritance, just as the LORD your God spoke to him.)

Deut 10:12

“Now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require from you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways and love Him, and to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,

“He executes justice for the orphan and the widow, and shows His love for the alien by giving him food and clothing.

Deut 10:20

“You shall fear the LORD your God; you shall serve Him and cling to Him, and you shall swear by His name.

Deut 11:13

“It shall come about, if you listen obediently to my commandments which I am commanding you today, to love the LORD your God and to serve Him with all your heart and all your soul,

“For if you are careful to keep all this commandment which I am commanding you to do, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways and hold fast to Him,

Deut 13:4

“You shall follow the LORD your God and fear Him; and you shall keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him, and cling to Him.

you shall not yield to him or listen to him; and your eye shall not pity him, nor shall you spare or conceal him.

“But you shall surely kill him; your hand shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.

“So you shall stone him to death because he has sought to seduce you from the LORD your God who brought you out from the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.

but you shall freely open your hand to him, and shall generously lend him sufficient for his need in whatever he lacks.

“Beware that there is no base thought in your heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of remission, is near,’ and your eye is hostile toward your poor brother, and you give him nothing; then he may cry to the LORD against you, and it will be a sin in you.

Deut 15:10

“You shall generously give to him, and your heart shall not be grieved when you give to him, because for this thing the LORD your God will bless you in all your work and in all your undertakings.

Deut 15:12

“If your kinsman, a Hebrew man or woman, is sold to you, then he shall serve you six years, but in the seventh year you shall set him free.

Deut 15:13

“When you set him free, you shall not send him away empty-handed.

Deut 15:14

“You shall furnish him liberally from your flock and from your threshing floor and from your wine vat; you shall give to him as the LORD your God has blessed you.

Deut 15:18

“It shall not seem hard to you when you set him free, for he has given you six years with double the service of a hired man; so the LORD your God will bless you in whatever you do.

Deut 17:7

“The hand of the witnesses shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people. So you shall purge the evil from your midst.

Deut 17:19

“It shall be with him and he shall read it all the days of his life, that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, by carefully observing all the words of this law and these statutes,

Deut 18:4

“You shall give him the first fruits of your grain, your new wine, and your oil, and the first shearing of your sheep.

Deut 18:5

“For the LORD your God has chosen him and his sons from all your tribes, to stand and serve in the name of the LORD forever.

Deut 18:15

“The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your countrymen, you shall listen to him.

Deut 18:18

I will raise up a prophet from among their countrymen like you, and I will put My words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him.

Deut 18:19

It shall come about that whoever will not listen to My words which he shall speak in My name, I Myself will require it of him.

Deut 18:20

But the prophet who speaks a word presumptuously in My name which I have not commanded him to speak, or which he speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.’

Deut 18:22

“When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not come about or come true, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.
